Blessing of the Animals

Blessing the Animals is a much loved tradition that coincides with the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis is said to have loved animals and wrote in his Canticle of the Creatures “All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.”
