Mental Illness Awareness Week
All day from Monday, October 7, 2013 to Saturday, October 12, 2013 | ISSS, 2nd floor, Crooker Center

C&DS would like to raise awareness about mental illness through out this week to students, faculty and staff. Information identifying how people percieve mental illness and stigmas associated with mental illness will be on display. We will also be providing educational materials to reduce stigma associated with mental illness.

Presidentís Faculty Research & Scholarship Colloquium
12:30 PM to 2:00 PM | Ahern Room, Crooker Center

The President’s Faculty Research and Scholarship Colloquium presents Dr. Catherine Swift on "Irish Saints in Medieval Ireland: Models of Local Spirituality." The date is also the ICUSTA talk.

Flu Shots
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM | Jerabeck Lounge (Second floor)

Methodist Hospital will be on campus, Tuesday October 8 from 2 - 3 p.m. in the Jerabeck lounge (second floor) to administer flu shots. The shots are free with your UST insurance so bring your card with you. If you are paying out of pocket, the cost is $25 and you can pay by cash or credit card. No appointment is necessary.

R.C.I.A. Classes
7:00 PM to 8:30 PM | Campus Ministry House

R.C.I.A. classes help prepare students for the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and/or Confirmation - or to find out more about the Catholic faith.

On the Life & Thought of Blessed John Paul II
7:00 PM to 8:30 PM | Clare Hall

Pope John Paul II Forum and the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist will host a six week mini-course for faith enrichment on "Why He is a Saint: On the Life and Thought of Blessed John Paul II," taught by Dr. John Hittinger. Tuesdays, September 10 - October 15, 7:00-8:30pm in Clare Hall.

University Singers Concert
7:30 PM to 9:30 PM | Chapel of St. Basil

The University Singers perform sacred choral works in the serene setting of the Chapel of St. Basil, under the direction of Dr. Brady Knapp.
