Faces the library on the academic mall signifying the importance of faith and reason in the Catholic intellectual tradition. Mass is held 7 days a week; confession is held every weekday. All attendance is optional.
Degrees include a Theology major for undergrads along with graduate degrees in Philosophy, Catholic Education, Faith and Culture, Theology and Sacred Music. The University Singers are an ensemble of music majors.
Open to students of all faiths at UST, offering liturgical programs, bible studies, volunteer experiences, and religious education courses advancing the motto of the Basilian Fathers: "Teach Me Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge." More>>
There is a daily celebration. And at the beginning of the academic year, UST hosts the Mass of the Holy Spirit. Faculty lead the academic procession in regalia, followed by a liturgical procession of the Basilian priests on campus.
Sends students to Washington, D.C. to support the pro-life cause at the annual March for Life. In the past, UST has sent the largest group from any college in Texas.
Processions are held throughout the year. On Good Friday, community members walk the Way of the Cross, honoring the Passion of the Cross at 5 different stops.
