Jimenez, from Northwest Houston, said UST is an excellent fit for her because the classes are small and her school schedule fits perfectly with her work schedule. She said she also values the professionalism and expertise of the professors at UST.

“The professors bring enormous insight into the classroom since they have extensive experience and are reputable professionals in their field," Jimenez said. “Also having worked for many different organizations and management styles, it has heightened my sensitivity to ethics in the workplace.”

Jimenez brings a diverse work history to CBE. Her professional experience includes working as a special education teacher for Houston Independent School District, a Child Protective Services investigator, an assistant buyer for Stage Stores, Inc. and a real estate agent for Keller Williams Realty. With a diverse background of work experience, Jimenez wants to investigate a wide-range of issues in the field of ethics.

“As we are becoming more globally connected through commerce, it is important to consider environmental, social and economic issues in all our business decisions,” Jimenez said. “With solid, ethical principles as our moral compass to guide us, a sustainable future is attainable for all stakeholders.”

Jimenez said CBE mirrors her values of building an ethical, sustainable organization as the key to maximizing the objectives of a company. CBE strives to help business people and students make good choices that benefit themselves, their businesses and their community. Visit the website for more information on a CBE concentration and upcoming events.
