Paul Earns RRAC Libero of the Week
Shirley PaulThe University of St. Thomas volleyball player Shirley Paul was named Libero of the Week by the Red River Athletic Conference for matches played during Oct. 8-14.

Paul, a junior libero from League City, Texas, scooped 66 digs in two matches last week, averaging 6.6 per game. She recorded 42 digs in a 3-2 win over Texas Wesleyan University and 22 digs in a 3-2 loss to Southwestern Assemblies of God.

“I was very grateful when I found out I was receiving this award,” Paul said. “We have been working really hard individually and as a team, and we still have plenty of games left. I am excited to see where we are going.”

The Celts are 5-2 in conference action with a mark of 14-10 on the season.
