Take on Breast Cancer With Dig Pink Volleyball Game

Support breast cancer awareness and the University of St. Thomas Lady Celts Volleyball Team by wearing pink in the stands at the Dig Pink volleyball game at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Jerabeck Center, 4000 Mt. Vernon.

The Lady Celts will have homemade baked goods and t-shirts for sale, and breast cancer information will be provided by UST Office of Health Promotion & Wellness. The Student Government Association will also sponsor a tailgate event after the 1 p.m. match.

The proceeds from all donations, the bake sale, t-shirt sales, ticket sales and concessions will benefit the Side-Out Foundation located in Washington, D.C.

Side-Out has raised money for breast cancer research nationally through college and high school volleyball tournaments, clinics and rallies.

Admission will be $2 for those wearing pink, free for the UST community and $3 for general admission. Dig Pink is sponsored by the Lady Celts Volleyball Team and UST Office of Health Promotion &Wellness. For more information, contact Kallie Noble, head volleyball coach, at noblekm@stthom.edu.
