UST Awarded for Ad Excellence

Photo: Educational Advertising AwardsUST’s Marketing Communications Department won 10 awards in the Higher Education Marketing 28th Annual Educational Advertising Awards.

This competition is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. Nearly 3,000 entries were submitted from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

Photo: MarCom AwardsThese awards follow the five awards granted to UST’s Office of Publications by Service Industry Advertising Awards in February.

“We haven’t entered this particular award contest before, it is a much broader scope,” said Chris Zeglin, Senior Digital Design Manager. “It includes banks, medical, travel, education and entertainment. I know we do really good work, but I didn’t expect us to place so well in these awards. We entered in seven categories and we placed in five.”

The “Get Ready, Already” emergency preparedness campaign also received a Gold Award from the MarCom Awards in November. This contest included more than 6,000 entries across categories and is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
