Celts Set to Host Inaugural PSN Sports Challenge

Celts Set to Host Inaugural PSN Sports ChallengeThe UST Women’s Basketball team will host the inaugural PSN Sports Challenge Nov. 18-20. This five-game event will feature the Lady Celts, as well as Dallas Christian College, Our Lady of the Lake University, St. Gregory’s University and Southern University - New Orleans.

Head Coach Mike Ricks is excited about the quality of the teams that committed to the Challenge.

“The four teams that are coming to town for this event are well-coached teams and historically competitive programs,” he said. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to see them all play and to get to know their coaches better as well.”

“Larry Cooper and the PSN Sports family has been very good to us,” Ricks said. “It is very rewarding to be able to partner with PSN to put on this event. It’s also a great opportunity for the fans of the schools that are coming to Houston to be able to follow the action online.”
