AdoreU Brings the Joy of Gospel

AdoreU -Evangelii GaudiumA night of praise and worship, a challenging talk and Eucharistic adoration will be presented through the AdoreU event at the University of St. Thomas at 7:30 p.m. on May 1, on the Campus Life Mall, 3909 Graustark St.

“This is the only event of its kind in Houston,” Lee Vigil, director of student evangelization, said. “Many students attend similar events, but not in a campus setting or at an outdoor venue.”

The AdoreU event is sponsored by Adore Ministries and hosted by UST Campus Ministry to provide a spiritual evening for powerful worship to Houston-area college students. Ike Ndolo, nationally acclaimed recording artist, will perform contemporary Christian music and lead the praise and worship during the event. AdoreU will also feature Paul George, a diocesan director, author and full-time evangelist.

Students will get the opportunity to worship and meet new friends and students from different Houston universities like University of Houston, Rice University and Houston Baptist University who share the same faith.

AdoreU is one of many events Campus Ministry provides, such as Eucharistic Procession, praise and worship, and weekly Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel of St. Basil.
