UST Students Plan Concert to Benefit Houston Food Bank

Graphic: Concert in the MallSupport local musicians and help fight hunger at the Concert in the Mall, a benefit concert for the Houston Food Bank from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, April 2 on the University of St. Thomas Campus Life Mall.

Several Houston area bands will perform including The Beans (with several current UST students), Reckless Endeavor, Finnegan, Tax the Wolf, and Fat Tony (former UST student).

Admission is $1 or one canned food item, all of which will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.

Reaching beyond the UST campus, student organizers Clinton Kuykendall, Christi Torralba and Dena Yanowski are working with other Houston universities to bring together students from across Houston for a worthy cause.

The event is open to the public and is hosted by the Office of Residence Life and Student Government Association. Parking is available for $2 in the Moran Center Parking Garage, 3807 Graustark, West Alabama at Graustark.
