Soccer Plays Down One Man in Loss

Graphic: SoccerThe University of St. Thomas men's soccer team lost 2-1 to Our Lady of the Lake University on Sept. 22. Sophomore Giouliano Andrade picked up two yellow cards and was sent off late in the first half, leaving the Celts playing one man down for the rest of the game. 
 
At the half, the Celts were down 1-0 and freshman Paulo Sacramento took a pass from freshman Victor Falcon to tie it up in the 63rd minute.  OLLU slipped in a goal in the 75th minute to finish the game.
 
The Celts play next on at 3 p.m. on Sept. 27 against Northwood University, from Cedar Hill, Texas. The team will play at Houston Amateur Sports Park, 12131 Kirby Drive, and admission is $3 for adults for free for kids.
