Amb. Chase Untermeyer, in his new book, When Things Went Right: The Dawn of the Reagan-Bush Administration, recaptures the era of President Reagan’s foreign policy, from the perspective of a senior administration insider. Drawn on his personal journal, his insider view of how foreign policy was made covers his time serving as executive assistant to then-Vice President Bush (1980-83). Amb. Untermeyer will share with friends of the Center for Int’l Studies some of his personal thoughts about Reagan era foreign policy, and vignettes of his time in the White House.
