The John Paul II Forum for the Church in the Modern World will host two lectures that explore the dramatic style, philosophy and theology of “The Jeweler’s Shop,” a play written by Karol Wojtyla, who later became Pope John Paul II.

The University of St. Thomas Catholic Social Justice Studies Program will host “The Increasing Relevance of the Catholic Worker Movement for Engaging 21st Century Problems,” a lecture by Martha Hennessy from 7:15- 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 in Scanlan Room, Jerabeck Center.

The University of St. Thomas Center for Thomistic Studies Colloquium will host a lecture by Rev. Robert Gahl, “Contemporary Psychology and its Relationship to Aristotelian-Thomistic Moral Psychology.” The lecture will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, August 25, in Sullivan Hall.

May 26, 2011  Study St. Teresa, St. John of the Cross in Spain this Summer
The UST community will have the rare opportunity to travel to Avila, Spain, this summer to take courses at the Catholic University of Avila. This venture, scheduled for August 3-18, is the first of its kind, a pilot for similar study abroad experiences.
