|The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Cooperative Engineering at University of St. Thomas offers a variety of programs tailored to the interests of each student. The curriculum offers a solid basis for advanced work, which is chosen in consultation with faculty advisors. The Department allows students a broad exposure to mathematics as it relates to the fields of the natural sciences and social sciences, computer science, engineering and business.
The University of St. Thomas prepares students to enter into the engineering profession through the cooperative engineering program. Engineers and technicians apply mathematics, science and technology to utilize the materials and forces of nature for better living. UST has cooperative agreements with Texas A&M University, the University of Houston, the University of Notre Dame and the Catholic University of America. Students will earn a B.A. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas and a B.S. degree in the chosen engineering discipline at the cooperative institution upon completion of both programs.
