Music students at the University of St. Thomas have quality performance opportunities within the rich and diverse backdrop of a liberal arts curriculum. Students enjoy small classes, which allows more time for individual interaction with their professors. University of St. Thomas music alumni are in graduate schools, performing professionally and teaching and leading church music programs all over the country.
The Music Department at the University of St. Thomas provides students with a comprehensive background in music theory, music history and performance. With an emphasis on Western music, students participate in performances concentrating on vocal and instrumental music. The department maintains an active recital series for the University and community. View the Performing Arts calendar.
