Travel Tips

The cheapest and most common travel route to Fredericton is a flight into Bangor, Maine. Fredericton is a three-hour drive from Bangor with port of entry at St. Stephen, New Brunswick. However St. Stephen has limited custom officers to process student visas and limited office hours. Another alternative is a flight into Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is better equipped to process visas. Fredericton is about a six-hour drive from Halifax.
