Our motto, vince in bono malum ("conquer evil by doing good"), expresses our basic philosophy in a positive plan of action to overcome the evil of ignorance by opening the pathways of knowledge to young people to create a professional approach using modern technology; to combat unmitigated materialism by recognizing and appreciating the spiritual side to every human person; to strive for harmony among peoples; to promote works of charity and justice; and to foster mutual openness and faith in God.

Study Abroad Testimonials

Merida 2006 - “Study Abroad at the University of Saint Thomas has changed my life! My first study abroad experience was my trip to Merida, Mexico in the summer of 2006! We lived in a beautiful spacious house with a balcony overlooking the vibrant streets of Merida, our afternoons were spent dancing Salsa on the balcony and swaying in our hand-made hammocks. The ruins we visited were truly remarkable and awe-inspiring in their magnificence. One of my most memorable nights was when a group of us went walking through el centro (downtown) and discovered a whole new world of art. Everyday was an adventure and the friendships I made on my trip are everlasting.” – Cimela Kidonakis
