Once awarded, outside scholarship funds are mailed to our office and posted to your student account. When you have been awarded an outside scholarship, communication with our office is important. The consulting firm of AES Engineers are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character. To be eligible, the student needs answer one of the essay questions. Deadline for entry is October 6, 2014.

U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholarship Program
A program of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program offers intensive summer language institutes in thirteen critical foreign languages. The selection process is administered by American Councils for International Education with awards approved by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

The Verbal Ink Transcription Services Scholarship
Each year, the Verbal Ink Transcription Services Scholarship awards a $1,500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior or current college freshman. The scholarship will be renewable each year for up to four years, provided that the award recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA or equivalent and completes the minimum number of credit hours required to be a full-time student each academic year.
Versitas Education Scholarship
Versitas is offering one $1,000 scholarship to students majoring in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Business, MBA, and Adult Education. The scholarship application is due by August 31, 2014. Applicants must have a minimum gpa of 2.700.

- A legal resident of Harris County, Texas or one of the contiguous counties surrounding Harris County. These counties are Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Waller, Montgomery, Liberty, and Chambers.
- A member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets.

JUNIORS & SENIORS: Graduate Programs will award $1,000 scholarships to pre-grad students who are current undergraduates (Juniors and Seniors) in an accredited institution who are thinking of applying to Grad school, or are recent college graduates who are thinking about going to Grad school.
