Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of St. Thomas! We look forward to welcoming you when you arrive on campus. We are here to help you realize your dreams and aspirations. The faculty, staff and students of UST will be your partners in reaching your academic, spiritual and social goals.
This coming semester, you will start experiencing the thrill of learning and living in a vibrant academic community. Beginning with orientation, we will introduce you to our campus and traditions; resources and support; and opportunities for personal growth.
What Do I Do Now?
It is important to set up your myStThom and Webmail accounts so that we can keep you informed of all the different services UST provides. If you have not yet set up your myStThom and Webmail accounts, please visit the After You Apply page and follow the instructions.
Once you have activated your accounts, follow this list of next steps (or you can visit us at www.beacelt.com to complete them):
Step 1: Contact your Admissions Counselor
Please let us know that you received your acceptance packet. We are here to answer your important questions about beginning your education at St. Thomas.
Step 2: Ensure you have completed your Financial Aid application
Don’t forget to complete and submit your FAFSA to UST (UST’s FAFSA code is 003654). Contact your Financial Aid counselor if you have any questions regarding financial aid. Shortly after submission of your FAFSA, you will receive a financial aid package in the mail.
Step 3: Submit Your Enrollment Deposit*
Submit your $200 enrollment deposit to secure your place in the entering class. The deposit applies towards your tuition at UST. Reserve your spot today! You can mail in your payment to:

Step 4: Submit Immunization Record
The meningitis vaccine must have been received within the last 5 years prior to enrollment.In accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, the vaccination must have been received at the least after the student’s 16th birthday and within the past five years. This information DOES NOT apply to students 22 years and older or students enrolled only in online or other distance courses.

Step 5: Apply for Housing
The University encourages new students to live on campus. Living in Guinan Residence Hall is fun and makes it easy to participate in campus life. Be sure to submit your Housing Application to Residence Life. For more information, visit the how to apply for housing page.
Step 6: Register for Classes
New students will have an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor; discuss degrees, programs and majors; make class selections; and register for classes. You will receive an invitation in the spring with dates and instructions on how to reserve your spot. Fill out the form and send it back as soon as you receive it in order to reserve your space.
Transfer students will receive an invitation to attend one of our Transfer Registration Days, which are also held throughout the summer.

Step 7: Attend Orientation
This mandatory program is an exciting time to get to know the University and your new classmates. During these days in August, you will spend time on campus learning about the academic and campus services available to you. Students will have the opportunity to move into Guinan Hall during Orientation. Register for Orientation.
