The University offers services like academic advising, transcript evaluation and programs through veteran groups like the Lone Star Veterans Association. Our full-time Director of Veteran Services is available to answer your questions about GI Bill benefits and discuss the opportunities for veterans at UST.

Academic Advising

The Academic Advising Center offers support for students by helping them understand the core curriculum along with degree options and requirements. Academic counselors are ready to help with major selection and degree planning. Our degree plans are available for your study.

Transcript Evaluation

Veteran students submit all college and military transcripts to the University as part of the admissions process. Counselors examine transcripts to determine progress toward degree fulfillment. Transcript evaluation establishes previous course completion and improves academic placement in future, required classes. Order Military Transcripts.

Federal Financial Aid

Veterans should read our GI Bill page for more information about federal funding options for college. UST also participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which may enable eligible veterans to attend UST with minimal tuition cost. The Director of Veteran Services and Financial Aid Counselors are available to help you apply for GI Bill benefits.

Please visit our Scholarships & Financial Aid section to learn more about scholarships, grants and loans. Students may also complete the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). UST’s school code is 003654.
