Get a Start on College with UST Summer Programs
 Students can begin their college career early with courses in mathematics, English and science held at the University of St. Thomas.
Mendenhall Summer Institute
- Focused on incoming college freshmen who will attend UST in the fall of 2009
- Offers mathematics and English courses for a total of 6 credit hours
- Tuition: $500 for both courses
Only 50 students selected for summer program
- Eligible for special scholarships upon completion of the program based on academic achievement and financial need
- Dates: July 2 - August 5
Science & Math Summer Institute
- Students with less than 30 hours of college credit may apply
- 25 students who register for science and/or mathematics in freshman year at UST are eligible
- Offers mathematics and introduction to scientific research methods for a total of 6 credit hours
- Tuition: $500 includes room and board (required) for 7 days per week during summer session
- Eligible for special scholarship fund after second year based on participation, academic achievement and financial need
- Dates: July 6 - August 7
Registration
- Deadline: May 1, 2009
- Students must be accepted into UST for fall 2009
- FAFSA for 2008 - 2009 required
- A student will not be accepted for both Mendenhall and Science & Math Summer Institutes
