Parking? No Problem
The most common complaint of university students on urban campuses is a lack of accessible parking. But parents won’t hear students at the University of St. Thomas gripe about parking facilities.
The Moran Center, dedicated in 2004 offers a safe, convenient, and centrally located place to park. Monitored by security cameras, with the Campus Security Office right below, students may park in the garage for a fee of $75 per semester.
UST students Meredith Spies and Zain Hussain say parking is never a problem.
“I prefer to park in Moran Center Parking Garage instead of on the street because I feel it’s safer,” Spies said. “My classes are scattered around campus, so it’s easier to park in a central spot than somewhere on the street.”
Hussain said, “I park in the garage every day because I know I will be able to find a spot, and I’m never late to class. Especially with the school growing, it’s getting harder to park on the street, and I feel like my car is safe there.” |
