The University of St. Thomas is a welcoming place where students and faculty of all faiths can learn and teach and strengthen their own religious convictions. On our campus there is an openness that transcends differences, welcomes diversity and provides a warm and supportive atmosphere for international students.
As a student at the University of St. Thomas, you will be studying among 1,600 undergraduate and 1,900 graduate students. Our students represent 40 states and 58 countries, making UST's student body one of the most multi-cultural in Texas and the Southwest.
Around eight percent of students hold foreign citizenship, though many others have international backgrounds. |

Annamarie Dober, Switzerland
University of St. Thomas international transfer student Annamarie Dober wants to focus on green marketing to combine her love for gardens and passion for marketing. Dober is working toward a combined five-year BBA/MBA with a concentration in marketing. She is a transfer student and a dual citizen. She was born in Houston, but moved to Switzerland when she was eight years old.

Dinorah Flores, Mexico
Dinorah Flores, an international student in the Master in Liberal Arts program at the University of St. Thomas, thought getting her degree in art history would be just a new experience. Much to her surprise, she exceeded her goals and became an inspiration, in education and faith, to her children.

Otariya Folorunso ’11, Nigeria
Otariya Folorunso, a process engineer at Baker Hughes and native of Nigeria, uses the skills she acquired during her college career to ensure accidents don’t happen. Folorunso attended UST Cameron School of Business and graduated with an MBA in international business in 2011.
