Monica Lopez

My name is Monica Lopez and I’m a freshmen admissions counselor here at UST. Choosing a college can be a very difficult decision, and I look forward to helping you through the process, every step of the way.

At the University of St. Thomas , our intimate campus community is nestled in the museum district, minutes from the medical center and downtown Houston giving our undergraduates that “home away from home” feel because at UST…we’re family.  As family, our community embraces each individual student, their culture and their faith and provides them with unique academic opportunities to transform their minds as well as their hearts. 

With an ethnically and religiously diverse population, UST students are enriched by a core curriculum that creates a collaborative dialogue between faith and reason.  This liberal arts education allows you to learn from a vast array of disciplines which will provide for an excellent foundation in many professions.
