Freshman Admission Deadlines
The following table explains the timeline of University of St. Thomas Admissions process. *The Admissions process is complete when the Undergraduate Admissions office receives all required documents. The University will notify academically qualified students regarding their eligibility for various scholarships, the Guinan Full-Tuition Scholarship and the Honors Program.

November 1 Early Action I (Non-Binding) – The application fee will be waived for students who complete the Admissions process* by Nov. 1. An Admission reply and scholarship award notice will be sent by Dec. 15 to academically qualified “Early Action” applicants. Academically qualified students in this group will be eligible for the first round of Honors Program interviews and for the V. J Guinan Full-Tuition Scholarship.
December 1 Early Action II (Non-Binding) – An Admission reply will be sent by Jan. 15 to students who complete the Admissions process* by Dec. 1. Scholarship notices will be sent by Jan. 15 to academically qualified students in this group. Eligible students in this group can be considered for the second round of Honors interviews, and may apply for the V. J Guinan Full-Tuition Scholarship.
February 1 Regular Admission I – An Admission reply will be sent by March 15 to students who complete the admissions process* by Feb. 1. Academically qualified Regular Admission I students will be considered for scholarships based on availability, and can be considered to interview for any remaining spots in the Honors program.
April 1 Regular Admission II – An Admission reply will be sent by May 1 to students who complete the admissions process* by April 1. Academically qualified students in this group will be considered for scholarships based on availability.
May 1 – Late Admissions – Students who complete the admissions process* after this May 1 will be considered for admissions on a space available basis with a reply sent up to two weeks after completion of admissions process. Academically qualified students in this group will be considered for scholarships based on availability.
