After You Apply
The University of St. Thomas offers you, our applicants, a UST Webmail account and a myStThom account. myStThom gives you the ability to follow your admissions and financial aid applications through the process. You can view what items are missing from your application file and then see any decisions made on your file. Once you complete the application process, you can expect to receive notification from the University of an admission decision in approximately two weeks.

In order to use your accounts you must activate your UST Webmail account and then activate your myStThom account. Both of these accounts can be accessed through the UST homepage, using the UST Portal link.

To Activate Your Webmail Account

Go to the Webmail page and select sign up online
Be prepared to enter your UST student ID number and your birth date, you will also be asked to choose and confirm a password.
A user name will be given to you at the bottom of the screen. That user name combined with @stthom.edu is your new UST e-mail address.

To Activate Your myStThom Account

Go to the UST Portal page and select new accounts on left hand side, under the myStThom menu.
Enter the user name that you just received from Webmail, then select continue.
Enter your date of birth and select e-mail password
Check your Webmail account to receive your myStThom password.

We recommend you change your password as soon as you login. To do this select Change My Password under the myStThom Menu on the left hand side.
