A cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher from all colleges/universities previously attended
High school GPA 2.80 (4.0 scale) or higher
Standardized Test Scores: Students must submit at least one of the following:
SAT: Math and Critical Reading scores must equal a minimum of 1070, with a minimum score of 500 on each Math and Critical reading. (UST's school code for SAT is 6880)
ACT: composite score of 23 or higher, with a minimum score of 19 on each Math and English. (UST’s school code for ACT is 4238).
Must be eligible to return to the last institution attended

Many of UST's core requirements can be taken at other institutions. The Course Equivalency Guide listed below provides parallels that can be taken at two-year colleges. No course with a grade lower than "C" (GPA 2.0) will be accepted for transfer. UST will accept up to 72 hours from two-year colleges.

A maximum of 90 transferable credit hours may be applied to degree plan.
Students Must take 36 hours in residence at UST unless academic committee grants exception.
UST does not accept the following course credit
Vocational or occupational training
Developmental /Remedial study skill course
Courses from college/university which do not have regional accreditation
