Description
 The Guinan room design includes balconies opening to beautifully landscaped courtyards, a view of campus or the Rothko Chapel. Rooms are double-occupancy with private bathrooms. Extra-long twin-size beds can be assembled for bunking, mini-lofts or as traditional single standing units. All rooms have built-in closets and individually controlled thermostats. Rooms are furnished with two beds, two desks, two chairs, and two chest of drawers.

Special note
Within the past few years the Office of Residence Life has found that most residents on campus use their cell phones as their primary use of communication with friends and family. Last year, a IT land line phone study was conducted in Guinan Hall that showed less than 3% of residents use the land line service provided in their residence hall rooms. Since the need for land line service has dramatically declined over the years, the Office of Residence Life has decided that it would be more financially responsible to remove land line service from each individual resident room in order to meet other resident needs.
Beginning Fall 2008, land line telephone service will no longer be provided in each resident room. Although the individual phones lines will be taken out, designated “house phones” will be located around Guinan Hall and the Residence Life Apartments for local calls or calls using a calling card. Resident Assistant rooms and ADA accessible rooms will have land lines still available in the room. |

 Guinan Hall rooms are equipped with single-unit MicroFridges (refrigerator with freezer and microwave oven). - Each room has two Internet connections.
- One cable television connection provides access to 64 channels.
- A computer lab, located on the second floor, is equipped with up-to-date software, to provide students with the latest tools and additional Internet access.
- Wireless Internet access is also available in the lobby atrium.
- Key card entry and security system provides 24-hour monitoring of Guinan Hall entry.
- On site laundry room with multiple washers, dryers and folding tables.
