The Office of Residence Life supports the mission of the University of St. Thomas through the creation of living-learning communities that meet the developmental needs of students and embrace the religious and intellectual traditions of Catholicism. Our Goal is to create residence halls where every individual feels secure, independent, respected and at home. We therefore hold all residents and their guests to the highest intellectual and moral standards.

1. To create living-learning environments in which faith and learning can come together.
   
2. To provide living-learning environments which are conducive to meeting the aspirations and facilitating the achievements of scholars.
   
3. To facilitate interaction between residents, characterized by respect for the worth and dignity of the human person.

5. To assist residents in their personal growth and development by providing a well-trained staff of professional and paraprofessional advisors.
