Re-contracting Information for Current Residents

Each Spring semester becomes that time again to start thinking about re-contracting to live the on-campus experience and who your roommate will be for the upcoming year. We have put together a few items that we hope will help you in the process and make it a smooth transition for you and your future roommate.

Please read over all of the re-contacting information carefully and don’t hesitate to contact our office if you need further explanation. We are truly excited about all of the activities and friendships that have happened this year and look forward to you returning to develop the on-campus community more! Residents must sign up in person during the designated date and times in the Office of Residence Life. Please see timeline below:

Priority Re-Contracting Basic Facts:
Priority re-contracting has been designed to make it easy to re-contract for next year. Here is what you need to know...
  • Residents MUST be currently living on campus, be in good disciplinary standing, and have a $300 security deposit on file.
  • Information about re-contracting dates will be posted online, emailed to current residents UST email accounts, posted in the halls, and in UST campus announcements.
  • All returning residents MUST complete and sign their new contract in the Office of Residence Life during Priority re-contracting hours.
  • Current residents do have the option to contract for a single room during the Priority re-contracting period.
  • Space for returning students is limited, but typically all residents who go through Priority re-contracting are assigned housing. Students who wait until after Priority re-contracting may be waitlisted for Fall and may not have housing. So don't delay what you can do today!
  • If you would like to request a roommate for next year, both you AND your future roommate must indicate this on your  final contract. Talk to possible roommates before the priority re-contracting dates.
