  2. When will I find out if I have a room?
Before you can contract for a room, you must complete an application and submit your immunization records directly to the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness. The immunization records must show that you have received a bacterial meningitis vaccination. Once you have submitted your immunization records and are cleared by Health Promotion and Wellness to reside in campus housing, you will receive a packet containing a housing contract, terms and conditions and other important paperwork.

Our first round of packets for the upcoming year are generally sent in April. As soon as you recieve the packet, fill out the appropriate paperwork and return it as soon as possible. We reserve spaces on a first-come, first-served basis and spaces for each student is reserved only when the entire housing contracting process is complete.

  3. How do you pair roommates?
Roommates are assigned based on the information that we receive on your housing application and roommate preference form. Please include any information you feel will help us in the selection process. We strongly encourage you as the resident to fill out your room preference information rather than have a family member or friend complete it for you to ensure the best match possible.

  4. Can I request a specific roommate?

However, please note that both roommates must submit a written request to the Office of Residence Life in order for us to complete the match. The Office of Residence Life will make every effort to accommodate roommate requests.

  7. How do I cancel my Housing Contract?
Don't Go! We certainly don't want to see you leave and would love to speak with you before you decide to cancel. Please send the cancellation letter to residencelife@stthom.edu from your official UST email account and we will begin the cancellation process for you.

Please schedule an appointment with a Residence Life Professional Staff member before cancelling to see if we can find options to keep you in the on-campus community.
