On behalf of the 2012-2013 Residence Life Staff Selection Committee, thank you for your interest in joining our team. Our student staff positions are essential to our residence halls and The University of St. Thomas. Take a look at the requirements and process below and we look forward to seeing how you can make a difference on campus!

Applicant Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be currently registered as a full-time University of St. Thomas student and meet age requirements for living on campus. (Priority consideration for the RA position is given to upper-class UST students)
• Must meet the GPA requirements for the desired position at the time of application and employment
• Student conduct history will be reviewed for each applicant
• RA applicants: Must be prepared to give priority to the RA position over all other areas of activity (with the exception of academic work).
• Community living or student leadership experience is preferred

The Selection Process

Step One:  We are currently hiring for 2012-2013 Resident Assistant and Sophomore Advisor student positions. Review job descriptions below:

Step Two:  Attend one Residence Life Information Session
February 23, 2012 - 1pm
February 23, 2012 - 8pm
February 24, 2012 - 1pm
All sessions will take place in the Guinan Hall Conference Room.

Step Three: Complete a staff application.  Applications will be posted online soon!

Step Four: Turn in two letters of recommendation with your completed application.  Recommendation letters should be submitted in a sealed envelope and included in your application packet. Do not send seperately.  Download the recommendation form here.

Step Five: Submit your complete application packet to the Residence Life Office.  The packet must be submitted in an sealed envelope or folder. 
Please note that a complete application packet consist of the staff application, two letters of recommendation, and a creative program flyer. 

The selection team will review completed applications and contact the strongest candidates to set up an interview time.

Staff Application Deadline - March 20th before 4pm
Group Process Interview Day - April 15, 2012
Individual Interview Day - April 21, 2012
Offer Letters Delivered - April 27, 2012
New Staff Meet and Greet - May 1, 2012
