Champion's Club
Mission Statement - Become a Member
The Champions Club’s mission is to strengthen the University of St. Thomas Athletic Department by encouraging private giving, providing financial support for the athletic program, promoting community awareness and increasing involvement in the University. The fundraising efforts of the Champions Club are a crucial component in supporting the cost of athletic operating expenses.
UST Athletics
In 2006, the University of St. Thomas returned to intercollegiate athletics with the start of Women’s Volleyball. After one season as the lone varsity sport on campus, the Lady Celts were joined by Men’s Soccer. The University will continue to expand into college athletics by adding Men’s Basketball in 2009. The Celts are proud members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and competes on the national level as a member of the NAIA Association of Independent Institutions.
In May of 2006, the University celebrated the opening of the Hackett Athletic Complex. It was the first step toward establishing a soccer program. As UST athletics continues to grow, the success of our teams and student-athletes will be heavily influenced by the support received from the St. Thomas and Houston communities. Now you can help support our program by becoming a Champions Club member!
Champions Club
Don’t just watch the team, be a part of the team! The Champions Club invites participation by alumni and friends who want to be a part of intercollegiate athletics at the University of St. Thomas. Every gift and contribution is greatly appreciated and will be dedicated toward the advancement of UST Athletics. Your support will go directly toward improving our student-athletes experience at St. Thomas. |
