The
University of
St. Thomas will field a varsity team for the first time in over 20 years and for the first time ever in volleyball.
The University has taken the next step in resurrecting intercollegiate sports at UST with the hiring of Jill Reynolds, the new women’s volleyball coach. The first move in reinstituting intercollegiate sports was the dedication of the Hackett Athletic Complex in April.
“It is an exciting opportunity to help build a new athletic program for UST,” Coach Reynolds said. “I look forward to the challenge of starting a program from the ground up and bringing in quality student athletes to represent the University on the volleyball court.”
“The women of the volleyball team have eagerly taken on the challenges of leading the way for future teams to follow,” UST President Robert R. Ivany said.
Be part of the excitement as the Celts build a tradition of excellence in athletics.
