What is SAB?
The Student Activities Board (SAB) is responsible for nearly all of the entertainment and events on campus. Being in charge of parties and entertainment, SAB puts on events such as Neewollah, UST’s annual Halloween bash, the Weenie Roast, Open Mic Night, Spring Formal, Week of Love, and more. The SAB office is found in the office of Student Activities located in the first floor of Crooker Center. |
How Do I join?
It is easy to become a member or an event planner with SAB. Simply come to the meetings which you will find a schedule of at the bottom of this page, and look for announcements and signs around campus. EVERYONE can be a member and if you do not want to plan the events, come to the meetings anyway for FREE LUNCH and games. It will give you a heads up on which parties to come to next and introduce you to a lot of new people! |
What if I have a new event idea or want to help plan a traditional event?
Email Jennifer Monroy at sab_president@stthom.edu with your name, phone number and email address. Specify what event you would like to help with or let her know your new idea. SAB will try to work with each member as much as possible. Schedule a meeting and give it a go! |

What is the Cost?
All SAB sponsored Events are Free to UST students with the exception of two events. Neewollah is a whopping $3-$5 and Spring Formal ranges from $12-$30. |
What the Heck is Neewollah?
Neewollah is the Halloween Party which has been an ongoing UST tradition for the past 50+ years. There are usually over 400 people who come dressed in costume and compete in the costume and dance contests winning a variety of prizes. This is the BIGGEST party of the year!
