Welcome to UST – Counseling & Disability Services
Fall Semester 2014
C&DS supports students who encounter stressful challenges while at the University of St. Thomas. Visit the C&DS office on the second floor of Crooker Center for more information about how we can help. Students with disabilities should visit our office the first week of classes to request accommodation letters. If you have a disability and are not receiving accommodations, please contact our office for an appointment as soon as possible.
Suicide Prevention Week
September 8 – September 13, 2014
C&DS will provide resources and information on early warning signs of suicide, as well as how to get help or help a friend who might be suicidal. Our goal is to bring awareness to UST students, faculty and staff in order to support suicide prevention on our campus.
Mental Illness Awareness Week
October 6 – October 13, 2014
C&DS will provide information to students, faculty and staff on diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses during this awareness week. Our goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding a mental health diagnosis, as well as to educate and provide resources to the UST community.
