Summer Camps

Athletic Camps
Celts Sports Camps provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to develop their skills in a fun, sportsmanlike environment. In addition to fundamental instruction, campers will be exposed to sport-specific strategies. Our goal is to challenge athletes and promote individual improvement that leads to athletic success. Academic Camps
Business Boot Camp:
Academic CampsJune 16 – 26; two weeks, Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. – noon; $450

Learn skills necessary for success like presentation, teamwork, basic financial analysis and conducting business research. Experience the competitive nature of business by participating in a business simulation. Learn about different business disciplines and related career opportunities. At the end of camp, leave with an understanding of business operations as well as the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in business. Designed for rising juniors and seniors in high school.


Critical Thinking & Logic:
June 16 – 26; two weeks, Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. – noon; $350

Introduces basic issues in formal and informal reasoning and includes a study of common errors in argumentation. The emphasis is on hands-on instruction and everyday examples. The camp helps improve not only abilities to recognize and evaluate arguments, but also developing your own arguments. Life and Genome Summer Camp:
July 7 – 11; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., lunch provided; $400

Participate in hands-on activities in biology and health. Experience the scientific method by posing original hypotheses and designing experiments to test. Then, focus on molecular biology, the genome and personalized medicine. Work on case studies highlighting the application of genomics to medicine and the ethical issues involved. Designed for rising freshmen - seniors in high school.


Summer Institute of Mathematics:
July 14 – 18; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., lunch provided; $400

Further develop your critical thinking skills through solving problems, applications and a project. Learn more about the art of mathematical thinking. To participate, students should be familiar with concepts from Algebra I and Geometry, as well as know how to solve equations, triangle relations and how to find areas and volumes. Designed for rising sophomores and juniors in high school.


Virtue, Character & Community
July 14 – 31; three weeks, Monday –Thursday, 9 a.m. – noon; $450

This three-week Socratic seminar introduces high school seniors to the art of close, analytical, integrative reading and discussion of texts drawn from multiple disciplines and historical periods.  The Seminar employs the Socratic method of discussion; we will follow the conversation where it leads. Designed for rising juniors and seniors in high school.

Students are required to obtain the five books listed below prior to the first day of the camp. Additional readings will be provided during the camp.

Italian Language Camp
Hosted by the Italian Cultural & Community Center

Register your child for an Italian cultural and educational experience! Two full-immersion sessions for ages 5 - 12 expand your child’s knowledge of Italian language, culture, traditions and culinary arts. Both sessions meet 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Music Camps
Music CampsOur faculty members are professional musicians and instructors with extensive experience teaching in summer music programs, workshops and private settings. Our top ranked summer music program allows students to participate in daily classes, ensemble and student performances and concerts. Camps are designed for students who will be in grades 3 – 12 this fall.
