The application deadline is February 1, but the cohort size is limited and will close as soon as cohort members are selected from the applicant pool to allow maximum time for finalizing living and working arrangements.

GRACE teachers are called to serve in the inner city parish schools of Houston with limited resources. Regardless of the final campus assignment, the salary earned will be equal to the minimum salary for beginning teachers on the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston salary schedule. Because of the 50% discounted university tuition scholarship provided by the university and community living arrangements through the archdiocese, the earned salary will cover most of the costs of the two-year program. Students, should be prepared, however, to cover any gap in salary earned and total expenses through personal finances or established student financial aid plans.
