Group Opportunities
Study abroad opens a window to a world of new experiences. UST offers a nationally ranked program of studies abroad that provides individual and group opportunities to make the world your classroom. Discover what the world means to you and learn about new people and places or rediscover more familiar ones. Winter and summer group programs take students out from behind four walls and create rich environments for immersive learning. While students participate in rigorous academic coursework, excursions and free time provide ample opportunity for participants to explore their surroundings.
UST study abroad group programs are offered during winter break and the summer session. Courses offered in the past have included undergraduate and graduate level courses in English, modern languages (Spanish and Mandarin), art history, Catholic studies, theology, international studies, history, political science, Psycology, and education.
Most courses are cross-listed at the MLA level.
Locations
Winter programs have been in London (England), Lima (Peru), Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata (Argentina), Taipei (Taiwan). and Lucea (Jamaica).
Summer programs have gone to Merida (Mexico), Assisi, Florence, and Rome (Italy), Prague (Czech Republic), Barcelona (Spain), Maynooth and Limerick (Ireland), Lyon (France). Additional programs for MBA/MIB students have gone to Bangalore (India), Beijing (China).
