  Language Requirement:
  All classes at UCA are taught in Spanish. Visit the Spanish as a Foreign Program (SFP) website for more information.
  
  All students whose native language is NOT Spanish must take a placement test upon arrival. Students who do not reach the advanced level on the placement test will be required to take a course in Spanish during the semester.
  
  The course, "Spanish as a Foreign Language," offered at UCA is extended throughout the semester, twice a week, two hours each day, totaling 64 hours. It has a reduced cost for exchange students of approximately $150 by UCA on top of UST tuition.

Visa Information:
2006 change in law does not require a VISA to enter Argentina.  Everyone is required to do this within 90 days of arrival.  This is processed in Buenos Aires, with the help and support of the International UCA staff. Once the student is accepted, he/she will receive an email from UCA with official acceptance. They will require a reply regarding the necessity of formal acceptance letter.

Accommodations:
There is no campus housing at UCA. The International Office will provide a list of different types of accommodations: home-stay, student residences or appartments for rent

Health Insurance:
International and exchange students must bring medical insurance from their home countries. This is a compulsory requirement to register at UCA. We recommend students to make sure that this insurance covers emergency hospitalization, general check-ups with a doctor and repatriation as well.
Students will need to provide us with a copy of the health insurance before the courses registration.
