Our Concept:
Created in 1989 through the concerted initiative of the diocese of the Vendee and local government bodies ICES had pioneered an innovative concept in further education, that of a Univeristy School relying on a specific approach to student development, the success of which is a permanent challenge.
Ideally located in La Roche sur Yon, a medium size city, ICES is only 3 hours from Paris (with direct train connections) and only 30 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. It is also a good starting point for touring Europe.
With seven academic departments (Literature, Languages, Political Sciences, Law, History, Biology, Mathematics, Physics-Chemistry), ICES receives more than 900 students every year coming from France and abroad.
