Livia Bornigia is also a professional actor and director; she has appeared in many theatre productions in the Houston area and has directed a number of shows, including Traffic in Women, a UST joint production between the Communication and English Departments.

Masters in Communication (Mass Communication Studies) from the University of Houston
Ph.D. in History/Communication (Propaganda Studies) from Leicester University in England.
