The Center for Science and Health Professions creates space for a highly adaptive and personalized learning experience. Infused with natural light and equipped with the latest tools of the trade, the facility inspires and prepares students to excel in their chosen careers in the science and health fields. The disciplines of Nursing, Biology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Environmental Sciences come together in one location to form a cohesive and convenient center. Students not only learn curriculum critical to their professional success, but the Catholic Intellectual tradition will inspire students to become caring leaders of faith and character.
This Center will also enable the University to expand expands outreach programs to encourage and assist high school students in making the transition to university en route to successful careers for the benefit of Houston and the state. |
