Memorial Gifts
A gift to UST is a unique way to honor a special individual, or honor the memory of a recently passed loved one. The University offers several opportunities for alumni and friends to place their name or the name of a loved one in a prominent setting on campus, leaving a lasting impression.
- Named Scholarship
A named scholarship can be established in the name of the loved one. Please contact Susan Bradford at 713-942-3100.
- General Scholarship
Fr. Monaghan Scholarship fund supports the University’s scholarship program. Each year many deserving student receive Fr. Monaghan scholarship.
- University Seal Plaza - For $100 - $250
The name or message inscribed on the busiest thoroughfare
- Tree Markers - $750
A Wonderful legacy to a loved one placed under a campus tree.
- Chapel Paver - $1,500
These pavers create the elegant walkway to the Chapel of St. Basil.
- University Planters - $1,500
Place a loved one’s name on a planter that provides beauty throughout campus.
- University Benches - $2,500
Take time to relax at your named bench on your way through campus.

Once the gift is received a card is mailed to the designated family member notifying them of the name and address of the donor but not the amount of the gift.
