Communications Department
 The Communications Department develops and distributes messages for internal and external audiences which may include local, regional and national news media; alumni and friends; faculty and staff; or prospective students. Our goal is to highlight the accomplishments of the University’s leaders, staff, faculty and students.
Some of the other services we provide include:
- Writing, editing and distributing of Shining Star and Star View
- Coordination of photography for conferences, events, and activities
- Preparation of faculty and staff for media interaction
- Distribution of Emergency Notification System
- Developing crisis communication plan
