Big Road Win Pulls Celts to .500
With four players scoring in double figures, the Celts men’s Basketball team posts impressive 69-49 win over Arlington Baptist Tuesday, Jan. 18. Led by Bryan Kaase’s 16 points, the Celts moved their season record to 9-9.

Forcing 24 turnovers and out-rebounding the Patriots’ 41-28, the Celts controlled the pace of the game with their defense. The strong defense led to a balanced offense at the other end of the court.

The Celts shot 40 percent from the field for the game, but they displayed a robust 47 percent from three point range. Leading scorer Bryan Kaase went 3-5 with Anthony Medina going 2-3 for 12 points.

Kosi Nwosu and Melvin Roberts chipped in with 11 points each. The Celts will hit the road again for a game against St Mary’s University on Saturday, Jan. 29.
