MBB Faces Bacone Warriors
Photo: Men's Basketball TeamThe University of St. Thomas men’s basketball team will take on the Bacone College Warriors at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Jan. 28, in Jerabeck Gym.

UST is hot coming off of a big win against the Langston University Lions, 84-53, on Jan. 26 at home. Sophomore Deric Dudley hit four 3s in the first half to help the Celts jump out to a 35-17 half-time lead. The Celts never looked back and built a 36-point lead with 12:15 left in the game.

St. Thomas had five men in double figures. Senior point guard Travis Lampley had another double-double with 13 points and 11 assists. Lampley also had a team-high eight rebounds. Dudley finished with 15 points, and senior Caleb Williams chipped in 14. Both Bryan Kaase and Adrian Morales had 11 points each.

The Lions were led by Jabril Bailey with 10 points.

The win improved UST to 14-5 overall and 9-4 in Red River Athletic Conference play.
