Pictured L to R: Marianne Ivany, C.C. Connor, Mary Ann McKeithan and Kusum PatelThe weather was perfect as nearly 130 members and friends of the University of St. Thomas Performing Arts Society gathered under the shade of the oak trees outside Cullen Hall for the PAS Spring Showcase. The Showcase honored the highest level patron members of the Performing Arts Society and celebrated a successful 2013-2014 performance season.

Guests, dressed in their spring finest of bright floral-tones and dapper seersucker, enjoyed picnic-inspired bites catered by Cordua, including truffled grilled cheese, spinach feta empanaditas, lobster corndogs and French macaroons for dessert. Afterwards they enjoyed an array of this year’s best performances from UST’s drama and music students before presenting a $25,000 check to the music and drama assistance fund for scholarships raised by PAS membership dues.

Each patron member received a bronze plaque on a chair in either Jones Hall or Cullen Hall, on campus.
