The University of St. Thomas will celebrate 1,038 graduates at the Commencement Ceremony at 10 a.m. on May 17, 2014 at Reliant Arena, located at 1 Reliant Park. The Baccalaureate Mass and Reception is on Friday, May 16. Read more about graduation events below.

Friday, May 16:
4:30-5:30 p.m. Honors Convocation (UST’s Jones Hall)
Honors Convocation will be held for invited students and their guests for induction into Delta Epsilon, Aquinas Honor Society and Alpha Sigma Lamda. Free parking is available in the Moran Center Garage. See campus map.
7 p.m. Baccalaureate Mass (Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Pkwy.)
Students should proceed to the Cathedral Centre, across from the Co-Cathedral, at 1701 San Jacinto St. at Jefferson Street. Family and friends may go directly to the Co-Cathedral. Students wear caps and gowns, but no hoods. Faculty wear full regalia.

Due to limited parking at the Co-Cathedral, it is recommended that students and guests take advantage of the free shuttle service from St. Thomas to the Co-Cathedral, starting at 5 p.m. Parking will also be free in UST’s Moran Center Parking Garage. See campus map.
8:30 p.m. Graduation Reception (UST’s Crooker Patio)
A Graduation Reception with a lasagna dinner will be hosted on May 16 by the Office of Alumni Relations on UST’s Crooker Patio immediately following Mass for graduates, family, friends and faculty to celebrate. Free Parking is available in UST’s Moran Center Parking Garage. See campus map.

No tickets are required for the Mass or reception on Friday.
Saturday, May 17:
10 a.m. Commencement Ceremony (Reliant Arena at 1 Reliant Park)
Graduates and faculty should arrive by 9 a.m. wearing full academic regalia.
The Commencement Ceremony begins at 10 a.m.

This year, the University will require tickets for all guests, to help accommodate the increased number of guests expected.
- Guests Without Tickets May Attend in Overflow Pavilion
An overflow venue with live-stream video of the event will be open to guests who do not have tickets for seating in the Arena.

The keynote speaker is Rev. Thomas Rosica, CSB, University of St. Thomas board member and Vatican media expert, CEO of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation and the president of Assumption University in Windsor, Ontario.
The student Commencement speaker is Alizeh Yusuf.
