Our mission: To support the mission of the University of St. Thomas by developing and implementing its strategic planning efforts through accurate and insightful support, information, and analysis. The Office of Planning and Technology helps to ensure that University plans are built on a shared mission.
The Office of Planning and Technology (OPT) is responsible for integrating strategic and operational planning that advances UST’s mission and values. To this end, it engages all members of the UST community. OPT supports the work of institutional planning, institutional assessment and effectiveness, accreditation, institutional research, and technology services.
II provides accurate, timely information and analytical support to the University community on a wide range of topics. OPT is the central contact for official campus statistics and serves as the major repository for information on students, courses, faculty, and staff. OPT is responsible for gathering and analyzing these data for use in strategic planning, assessment, and policy decisions.
Mr. Gary McCormack, Vice President of Planning and Technology, heads OPT and reports to the President.
